Same use as 2-port but also has a return line. For converting an EFI vehicle to a carburetor but using the EFI fuel pump and return line. Also, this type of regulator should be used in conjunction with a high volume electric pump to avoid overworking the pump and heating up the fuel. At idle or low engine speeds, a high volume pump is attempting to pump way more fuel than the engine can use. With a bypass regulator, all this excess fuel is returned to the tank.

Note this regulator is designed to use o-ring style fittings on the inlet and outlet ports. It is supplied with (3) o-rings for use on port fittings. Note that the port threads are the same as -06AN fittings. For example, you can use a Professional Products -06AN Flare Union fitting in these ports. #15216 (blue), #16216 (black) or #17216 (polished). If you need a 90° style fitting we offer one in black only (#71285) that comes with a jam nut and o-ring. This design allows you to thread the fitting into the position you want and lock it down with the jam nut.

Designed for use on regular EFI?systems requiring one feed line to the fuel rails and one return line to the fuel tank. Wrench flats on the 10686 model make it easy to install pipe fittings. Adjustable from 25 to 75 psi. Bottom port is the bypass back to the fuel tank. Two ports on sides can be either inlet or outlet. Fuel pressure will rise on a 1:1 ratio when referencing boost.
Note: The 10685 regulator is designed to use o-ring style fittings on the inlet and outlet ports. It is supplied with (3) o-rings for use on port fittings.
