This Powerforce+Plus damper is dimensionally the same as the popular JDM single accessory drive pully that many racers are using, except this is a true harmonic damper. The alternator will run 11% underdrive on B-16, 12% under on a GSR and 7% under on a Type R. No provision for A/C or power steering drive belts with this damper. The damper is made of 1045 steel and meets SFI spec #18-1 for all racing.

Our new Powerforce damper for B-16 Hondas is identical dimensionally to the factory O.E. damper except ours is made of tough nodular iron. This damper can also be used on an Acura Type R engine without A/C or power steering and the alternator will be under driven by 11 %. If your Type R has A/C it will run 10 faster than stock and the power steering will run 3% faster. We recommend that if you have a Type R, use our 80053 damper.

The Powerforce damper the Acura GSR is an excellent high performance street damper. It features a light press fit onto the crank for additional reliability in high revving applications. Three bolt holes on face of damper are for using a conventional damper puller for removal. This damper is also substantially less expensive than a stock original equipment damper.

This damper is identical dimensionally to the stock O.E. damper but is made of tough nodular iron to provide more reliability in high performance and high revving applications. The damper is also a light press fit onto the crank compared to the slip fit with the factory damper. Three bolt holes on face of damper allow removal with a conventional damper puller.
